The "Bureau of International Recycling", or BIR for short, is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Brussels, which offers a dynamic forum for its members to share their knowledge and experience. It serves as a platform to build successful business relationships and to promote the recycling industry in general among other industries and political decision-makers. In 2016, the association presented a new, extremely interesting project.
The organization wants to set up a Global Recycling Day and invite all members and interested parties. The aim of this day is to draw attention to the importance of recycling for climate change and to increase the transparency of international recycling companies.
As a member of the organization HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH supports this project and we would like to invite all friends and partners of HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH to support this project as well as to sign the online petition. The Global Recycling Day will bring people together to raise awareness and strengthen knowledge about the importance of recycling in a global sustainable society.
On the website www.bir.org you can read more about it and sign the online petition to make the Global Recycling Day happen.
